(I should goggle MT police & find that out myself.)

I had trouble getting some of the early books in this series - the library copies were already on reserve! but I was lucky enough to find used copies.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17782561487396697870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1203893324932668537.post-73539658756152917762013-01-06T15:31:40.554-06:002013-01-06T15:31:40.554-06:00Just checked, and our library has ten of her books...Just checked, and our library has ten of her books. Yippeee!

Sheriffs provide our local law enforcement here in rural Montana. I don't think the nearby towns even maintain police forces.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1203893324932668537.post-68768243509515565812013-01-04T19:37:29.465-06:002013-01-04T19:37:29.465-06:00Very creepy, elizabeth - but then I think they get...Very creepy, elizabeth - but then I think they get bad PR too - all those cartoons. Speaking of assumptions, though, I did expect a lot more "Wild West" myself when I first moved to Texas!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17782561487396697870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1203893324932668537.post-88757512936150188632013-01-04T02:22:55.494-06:002013-01-04T02:22:55.494-06:00A completely new writer to me and I will now go an...A completely new writer to me and I will now go and explore her work. Reading this from the other side of the Atlantic, it's interesting that initially I assumed that it was a series with a period setting. I guess in the UK anything that has a sheriff in it is automatically 'Wild West'. It would do me good to have my assumptions shaken up a little bit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
