I have a vague memory of it - but it clearly didn't make much of an impression. I do like this cover, I think it's very attractive and certainly focuses on Wilde.

Debbie, after seeing the Firth/Everett film, I really wanted to read the play itself. Though I enjoyed it, I found some of the added film bits a bit over the top, like Cecily's journal daydreams. I'll have to look for your post - I must have missed it.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17782561487396697870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1203893324932668537.post-5837078405581258282012-04-11T17:37:07.256-05:002012-04-11T17:37:07.256-05:00The Importance of Being Earnest was my first read ...The Importance of Being Earnest was my first read for this challenge in January. Funny comment about Lahr's name being so prominent.

I love Importance of Being Earnest, but haven't read anything else by Wilde except Dorian Gray, which I found disappointing, actually.JaneGShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11094501834387622997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1203893324932668537.post-80550940391212196752012-04-06T17:00:49.430-05:002012-04-06T17:00:49.430-05:00Anne, thanks for stopping by.
