I wish I could nominate him for some kind of award. But it's even better when the book I want is already in the system. I hope you enjoy this one! My library does not have a copy of Secret Daughter, but there are several available in the system. It sounds like a book I would enjoy... might be a good choice for my book club, too. Thanks for a great review!JoAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13691864361197071517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1203893324932668537.post-48227241254564300532014-09-07T06:20:49.307-05:002014-09-07T06:20:49.307-05:00Debbie, I was surprised at the low number of Libra...Debbie, I was surprised at the low number of Library Lovers as well! Considering how full my library always is on a Saturday morning.

Anbolyn, I feel like I've read a lot about India, but from mainly British writers. I think this is the first by an Indian author. Americanah is on my list too!

vicki, I'm guessing that it's not because those people are buying all their books instead of using the library. I'm afraid that sad number correlates to the even sadder number of Americans who don't read A SINGLE BOOK in a year. We haven't read a thing about India so I think that this would be a good candidate. I can see how the American part of the story would pale next to the fascinating Indian side of the tale.Anbolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00323363299342020225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1203893324932668537.post-2433266758778420162014-09-06T21:01:33.032-05:002014-09-06T21:01:33.032-05:00And only 10% of the public is a Library Lover like...And only 10% of the public is a Library Lover like we are?(!)

I loved this review, and have added it to my soon-TBR list. :-)Debbie Rodgershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15630059470408161434noreply@blogger.com
